1. RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
All parts sold by 32 Spares are second-hand/used and sold AS-IS.
No change of mind
We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect purchase, or buyer error. This includes but is not limited to:
- Ordering the wrong part for your vehicle
- Changing vehicle/project plans after purchase
- Finding a cheaper part elsewhere
- Deciding the part is not needed
Buyer fitment responsibility
Buyers are solely responsible for verifying compatibility before purchase. This includes:
- Cross-checking VIN, engine codes, and OEM part numbers
- Confirming year, make, model, and variant
- Confirming visual and dimensional match to your own part
We strongly recommend checking part numbers against your existing part before ordering. Photos and descriptions are provided for reference only.
Returns authorised in limited circumstances
We will assess returns only where:
- Item materially differs from the listing description (not minor cosmetic variation expected of used goods)
- Item is dead-on-arrival (DOA) — verifiable within 48 hours of delivery and not caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or pre-existing fault on the buyer's vehicle
- A consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law has been breached
Return process
- Email [PLACEHOLDER_EMAIL] within 7 days of delivery with: order number, photos, description of fault.
- Wait for a Return Authorisation (RA). Returns sent without an RA will be refused.
- Ship the part back at your cost. Items must arrive in original condition.
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all authorised returns unless the return is due to our error or an ACL breach.
Items that cannot be returned under any circumstances
- Electrical components (ECUs, ECMs, sensors, modules, body computers) unless DOA-verified in writing within 48 hours
- Items that have been installed, painted, modified, or attempted-to-fit
- Items damaged by buyer or in transit due to buyer's return packaging
- Items where the original tag, label, or marking has been removed
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 business days of the returned item being received and inspected. Original shipping is non-refundable.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
This policy does not exclude, restrict, or modify rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a major failure occurs you are entitled to a remedy under that law.
